Football results. Matchday of January 18, 2026
Football competitions in Spain are structured as follows:
First Division: 1 group of 20 teams (the bottom three teams, 18th, 19th, and 20th, are relegated to the Second Division).
Second Division: 1 group of 22 teams (the first and second-placed teams are automatically promoted to the First Division, as is the winner of a playoff between the 3rd and 6th-placed teams. The bottom four teams are relegated to the First Federation).
First Federation: 2 groups of 20 teams each (the first-placed team in each group is automatically promoted to the Second Division, as is the winner of the playoff between the 2nd and 5th-placed teams. The bottom five teams in each group are relegated to the Second Federation).
Second Federation: 5 groups of 18 teams each. A Catalan-Balearic Federation (the 5 group champions are promoted to the First Federation. The five winners of the play-offs in each group, between the teams that finished between 2nd and 5th place, are also promoted to the First Federation. The bottom 5 teams in each group and the two losers of the promotion/relegation play-offs between the 3 groups are relegated to the Third Federation).
Third Federation: 18 groups of 18 teams each. A Balearic Federation (the 18 group champions plus 9 more from the play-offs and the elimination round between the teams that finished between 2nd and 5th place in each group are promoted to the Second Federation. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to the Regional Preferente).
Preferred Regional: Mallorca (18 teams); Minorca; Ibiza and Formentera (the first-place team is directly promoted to the Third Division and the bottom three are relegated to the First Regional). The teams finishing second through seventh in Mallorca, plus the first-placed teams from Menorca and Ibiza-Formentera, are divided into four groups. The four group winners are also promoted to the Tercera División (fourth tier). The bottom three are relegated to Primera Regional (first tier).
First Regional: 1 group. Mallorca, with 20 teams (the top three are promoted to the División Regional Preferente (fourth tier) and the bottom two are relegated to Segunda Regional (second tier).
Second Regional: 3 groups. Mallorca (the top three are promoted to Primera Regional and the bottom three are relegated to Tercera Regional).
Third Regional: 2 groups. Mallorca (three teams are promoted to Second Regional: the top two from each group and the best second-placed team from the two groups. There are no relegations).

Mallorca (First Division), At. Baleares (Second Federation), Constacia (Third Federation), Poblense (Second Federation), Manacor (Third Federation), Felanitx (Third Federation), Sporting de Maó (Menorca Regional Preferente), SD Ibiza (Second Federation).
Mallorca 3 – Athletic Bilbao 2. 21 out of 60 points. 14th out of 20 teams.
Girona 1 – Atlético Baleares 1. 32 out of 57 points. 4th out of 18 teams.
Portmany 0 – Constancia 1. 26 out of 54 points. 5th out of 18 teams.
Olot 1 – Poblense 0. 36 out of 57 points. 1st out of 18 teams.
Alcudia 2 – Manacor 2. 46 out of 54 points. 2nd out of 18 teams.
Collerense 1 – Felanitx 2. 14 out of 54 points. 16th out of 18 teams.
UD Maó 0 – Sporting de Maó 1. 11 out of 21 points. 5th out of 11 teams.
Terrassa 1 – SD Ibiza 1. 26 out of 57 points. 9 out of 18 teams.
