Complaint to ICOMOS of the destruction of the World Heritage of the Serra de Tramuntana aggravated by urban and tourist deregulation.

ICOMOS is the acronym in English for "International Council on Monuments and Sites". It is a global non-governmental organization that works to conserve and protect cultural heritage around the world.

The GOB and the Association for the Defense of the Landscapes of Estellencs warn of an accelerated process of loss of cultural, social and environmental values that puts at risk the continuity of the Sierra as a living landscape.

The Prohens government has opened the door to speculation on protected land and has dismantled the protection system that justified the UNESCO declaration.

The entities warn that, with the regulatory reforms approved in recent months, the Prohens Government has turned the Sierra into an unprotected territory in the face of speculative and tourist pressure, putting at risk the universal values that justified its recognition as a World Heritage Site in 2011.

An unarmed legal framework: the deregulatory policies of the Prohens government
